Mark was born and raised in upstate New York and met his wife from New Jersey when they both relocated to Charlotte in high school. They have two children: a son who works in IT in Wilmington, NC, and a daughter who works in the medical field in Charlotte. Mark and his wife lived in Mint Hill for 18 years and are members of St. Luke Catholic Church. They now reside in a 90-year-old historic home in Plaza Midwood of Charlotte where they enjoy updating it while trying to maintain its charm and character. Mark also serves as a Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association board member, volunteering his time to raise funds for the non-profit.
